Jotform's July Authorize.net announcement offered two sign-up paths. For supplement and hemp sellers, Gateway Only is the one to understand, from supported processors and eCheck underwriting to switching acquirers without new API keys.
Authorize.Net full-card exports need an owner-approved, fee-based request that can take three weeks, NMI imports only through affiliate-initiated PGP files and charges at least $500 to export, and neither gateway imports subscription schedules.
Firearm and other regulated merchants that authorize at checkout and capture after FFL transfer or backorder release need Authorize.Net's 30-day unsettled ceiling, NMI's processor-dependent auth windows, and tested reauth plus customer notices before holiday volume.
BigCommerce lists native NMI and Authorize.Net connections for specialty MIDs when platform rails drop regulated catalogs. The Payments API table shows Authorize.net vaulting support and NMI raw-card-only limits, while Commerce's AUP puts highly regulated product compliance on the merchant.
Stripe, Checkout.com, and Worldpay documentation puts Mastercard's requirement that recurring and other merchant-initiated charges carry the original Transaction Link Identifier on October 23, 2026. The December 1, 2026 and January 31, 2027 dates now circulating match Worldpay's schedule for lifecycle linking, and Authorize.Net and NMI have not published TLID guidance.
Authorize.Net's production maintenance on Saturday, October 17, 2026, starts at 9:00 PM Pacific (midnight Eastern) and, per its notice, AFDS transactions will process as if fraud filters are not enabled while CIM, ARB, voids, refunds, and hosted checkout CAPTCHA may be intermittently unavailable.
Authorize.Net Account Updater in the New Merchant Interface (2.0) refreshes Visa and Mastercard cards on ARB and CIM profiles. Misread ACL and CCH responses can suspend subscriptions and spike retries that look like card testing.
